ANGELA GUENTZEL
Executive Manager
Angela manages the financials, daily operations, sales, and distribution. Angela grew up on a row crop farm in South Central MN where they raise corn and soybeans. In 2015 Angela and Andy formed Mankato Valley Seed where they sold corn and soybean seed. Soon after, they partnered with Biodyne after seeing impressive yield increases in trials on Angela’s family farm. It was not long after that when Elara was created. Spurred by product success and demand, Mankato Valley Soil Solutions was formed in 2020 as an independent company focused on improving soils and enhancing yield.
ANDY CRAMBLIT
Soil Health Specialist
Andy is the lead chemist and formulator. He enjoys studying how plants grow and interact with the microbiome and hormones in the in the soil. All research starts in the lab where new ideas or are tested using the scientific method to evaluate their ability to improve certain growth characteristics. Once proof of concept has been established new products are off to full scale field trials. Andy majored in Chemistry and Business Management at Gustavus Adolphus College.
ZACH KOSER
Production Manager
Zach has a small hobby farm near lake crystal, MN and works for a farming operation as an equipment operator and farmhand. There, they participate in many trials and have used Mankato Valley Soil Solutions products. Zach partnered with Andy and Angela in 2020 as the Production manager and product sales representative. Zach hopes to continue to grow his knowledge of plant and soil science as more discoveries are made and we continue to formulate leading edge products. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, tinkering with equipment or spending time with friends.
